KEG Academia

About the Event

KEG Academia is a dedicated platform that brings together petroleum engineering departments, technical institutes, and research institutions across the Kurdistan Region. Organized by the SPE Northern Iraq Section, the event fosters dialogue between academia and industry while highlighting innovation, student engagement, and institutional collaboration.

The program features keynote addresses, university spotlight sessions, an open discussion forum, and networking opportunities, with participation from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and a range of academic and industry stakeholders. The event aims to strengthen the academic–industry bridge and promote knowledge-driven development in the energy sector.

Attendance

Participation is by invitation only.
Invitations have been extended to selected operators, service companies, regulators, and institutions with direct relevance to the upstream, midstream, and downstream sectors.
